This Privacy Policy applies when you use FuFu Gadi’s website, Android application, booking portal, customer account, WhatsApp communication, telephone support or related travel services.

FuFu Gadi Tours & Travels, also known as FuFu Gadi, provides self drive car rentals, chauffeur-driven cabs, Force Urbania, Tempo Traveller, airport transfers, tour packages and related travel support from Guwahati, Assam.

Information we may collect

The information collected depends on the service you use. Some details are provided directly by you, while other information is generated through your booking, payment, vehicle handover or use of our digital services.

Identity, account and contact information

  • Name, mobile number, WhatsApp number, email address and customer-profile information.
  • Address and pickup or delivery location where required for service fulfilment, billing or verification.
  • Driving Licence and government-issued identity documents needed for eligibility, vehicle handover, safety and legal compliance.

Booking, payment and travel information

  • Vehicle or service selected, dates, time, pickup and return location, route, group size and optional add-ons.
  • Booking status, invoices, payment status, transaction reference, refunds, cancellations and modification history.
  • Vehicle handover and return records, odometer, fuel, condition photographs, damage observations, tolls, challans and trip-support records where applicable.

Technical, app and usage information

  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system, app version, session information and diagnostic logs.
  • Pages viewed, searches, booking-flow activity, approximate location and interactions with website or app features.
  • Information supplied through optional permissions, such as notifications, location, camera or file upload, only when the feature requires it and permission is granted.

  • Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, duplicate bookings and other security or operational risks.
  • Improve our website, mobile application, pricing, booking experience, customer support and fleet operations.
  • Maintain accounting, tax, insurance, transport, dispute-resolution and other required business records.

WhatsApp OTP and service communications

FuFu Gadi may use WhatsApp-based OTP verification to authenticate customers and protect account access. OTPs are time-limited and should not be shared with anyone.

We may send booking confirmations, payment updates, vehicle instructions, reminders, invoices, cancellation information, trip-support messages and important service notices by WhatsApp, SMS, email, telephone or app notification.

FuFu Gadi will never ask for your OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, password or internet-banking credentials.

Promotional messages, where sent, may be stopped by using the unsubscribe option provided or by contacting us. Essential booking and safety communications may still be sent while a booking or customer request remains active.

Section 05

Payments, refunds and transaction records

Online payments are processed through authorised payment gateways or banking partners selected by FuFu Gadi. Financial credentials are entered on systems operated by those providers and are subject to their own policies.

  • FuFu Gadi does not directly store complete card numbers, CVV values, UPI PINs or internet-banking passwords.
  • We may retain order IDs, transaction references, amount, payment status, refund status and gateway responses for support, reconciliation and accounting.
  • Bank or UPI details supplied for a refund may be used only to process that refund and maintain the related record.

Cookies, analytics and device technologies

Our website and application may use cookies, session storage, device identifiers, analytics tools and similar technologies to operate securely, remember choices and understand how customers use the service.

  • WhatsApp, email, SMS, push-notification, cloud hosting, analytics, security and customer-support providers.
  • Drivers, operations staff, roadside assistance, insurers, repair partners or recovery providers where necessary for the booking or an incident.
  • Hotels, safari operators, permit facilitators and travel suppliers when FuFu Gadi is arranging a tour or related service requested by the customer.
  • Courts, police, transport authorities, government departments, regulators, insurers, auditors or legal advisers where disclosure is lawfully required.

Service providers are expected to use information only for the agreed purpose and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

Section 08

Retention, archiving and deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for legitimate operational, safety, accounting, insurance, fraud-prevention, dispute or compliance requirements.

Retention periods differ by record type. For example, an incomplete browsing session may be retained for a shorter period than a completed rental, payment, accident, challan, invoice or legal record.

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymised or securely archived. Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are replaced through the normal backup cycle.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should keep their device, OTP and account access private and contact us promptly if suspicious activity is noticed.

Children, driver eligibility and third-party links

Children and rental eligibility

FuFu Gadi does not knowingly create self drive rental accounts for children. The primary driver must satisfy the applicable age, identity and Driving Licence requirements for the selected vehicle.

Information about children may be supplied as part of a family tour or hotel booking. It should be provided only by a parent, guardian or authorised adult and only where required for the requested travel service.

Third-party links and services

Our website, application or communications may link to payment gateways, maps, app stores, social networks, hotels, activity providers or other external services. FuFu Gadi does not control their independent privacy practices, so customers should review the relevant provider’s policy before supplying information directly to them.
